While working at LAIKA House, I worked on a new stop-motion animated series of commercials for Planter's Peanuts. This is the latest commercial from the campaign, which introduces the newest nut, Alejandro Almond.
I made the stone mold for Alejandro and the silicone molds for the giant Beetle. I also made the armature for the beetle using brass tubing, steel nuts and a combination of steel and aluminum wires.
WOW! FABULOUS work! I love the commercial. I worked in advertising for over 20 years, and I am also an artist, so I REALLY appreciate what goes into all of this!!
ReplyDeleteThat has to be the coolest thing I've seen in a while! I agree with the comment above me, it's fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI have no clue what goes into advertisements or anything involved in commercial making, but I'm sure it's hard work. Keep it up, you do a very good job at it.
This was a pretty funny and I liked it so did you make that clip
